Vice-Prime Minister introduced to course of digitalization of Khorgos

Digitalization of Khorgos will ensure integration into the global network of transport logistics, it became known during the working trip of Deputy Prime-Minister of Kazakhstan Askar Zhumagaliyev to Almaty region. He visited the railway station Altynkol, SEZ "Khorgos - Eastern Gate", the customs post "Zharkent", JSC "ICBC "Khorgos".

The Vice Prime Minister got acquainted with the progress in the implementation of projects on the digitization of production processes at the objects of the transport and logistics hub in the framework of the tasks outlined in the Address "New Possibilities of Development in the Conditions of the Fourth Industrial Revolution".

General Director of JSC "MC SEZ "Khorgos - Eastern Gate" M. Baimukhanbetov reported on the introduction of advanced technologies in the SEZ.

Together with DP World, the "Nomad" information system was introduced to automate processes and create a platform for digitalizing processes in the territory of Kazakhstan and beyond. At present, 48 business processes have been automated, the time for obtaining a vehicle entry/exit permit has been reduced from 1 day to 30 minutes.

"The "Nomad" system and the subsequent introduction of the PCS program for managing cargo flows in ports will enable Kazakhstan to create an effective information corridor with the countries of the Customs Union and the near abroad. These measures will improve Kazakhstan's logistics efficiency index at the international level and will enable to enter the list of 40 countries with the best logistic climate by 2020", said chief operating officer of JSC "MC SEZ "Khorgos-Eastern Gate" Kh. Belmaashi.

The Altynkol station is also equipped with all the necessary modern machinery and is equipped with technologies for efficient cargo handling.

"Automation of all production processes is established, software is introduced on preliminary information with the customs service under the "Astana 1" program. President of JSC "ICBC "Khorgos" K. Dzhazin said that in the near future to increase the transparency of Center's activities, the principle of "one window" will be introduced.

"We are working to ensure that the entire format is as convenient as possible for working at the ICBC. For entrepreneurs who deliver their products or provide services on the territory of the ICBC, electronic document management will operate. This will increase the transparency of all work, the possibility of a corruption component will be minimized to zero", K. Dzhazin said.
