Rules for operating access roads changed in Kazakhstan
The amendments to the order approving the rules for operating the access roads came into force, the Ministry for Investments and Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan reported.
"The order introduced a norm that provides for the separation of types of repair of access roads for planned and unscheduled work. This will allow to regulate the process of carrying out these works and limit the unreasonable closure of access roads by the owners", said the report.
At the same time, the order stipulates the norm, according to which the branch owner is obliged to notify the users of transportation services not less than 15 days before the beginning of the change in the schedule of planned works. In addition, the rules define the right of the branch owner to request, if necessary, a filing-cleaning form from the carrier.
For reference: in Kazakhstan, there are 3,274 access roads with counterparts. Their total length is 11 thousand kilometers.
