Kazakh President met with heads of US large companies

Head of State Nursultan Nazarbayev held a range of meetings with heads of large American companies in New-York, the Akorda press-service informs.

At the meeting with President of the "GoldmanSachs" company Harvey Schwartz, the sides discussed the issues of further cooperation of the International finance center "Astana" with "GoldmanSachs".

Nursultan Nazarbayev told about the results of the work done on the launch of the International finance centre.

"To date, all legal conditions have been adopted. The court based on English law was created. All necessary preferences for particiapnts, including visas and tax benefits were created", said the President of Kazakhstan.

The Head of State also noted that the AIFC established cooperation with the US exchange Nasdaq and the Shanghai Stock Exchange.

At the meeting with Chief Executive Officer of "ExxonMobil" Darren Woods, the President of Kazakhstan particularly emphasized the current economic partnership between Kazakhstan and "ExxonMobil" in the oil sector.

The Head of State noted the participation of the company in the projects on development of oil and gas fields Tengiz and Kashagan.

In turn, D. Woods congratulated N. Nazarbayev with the beginning of Kazakhstan's presidency in the UN Security Council and with the successful holding of talks with US President D. Trump.
