N.Nazarbayev thanked Head of "Nasdaq" for its work in Kazakhstan
During the meeting, the Head of State welcomed the decision of the company to work in Kazakhstan.
"We welcome your decision to work in Kazakhstan, in the AIFC. We have introduced the amendments to the Constitution and to a number of laws of the country. English law was introduced as well as preferences for all participants. We create all favorable conditions for those, who intend to work", said The President of Kazakhstan.
Nursultan Nazarbayev added, that the decision of "Nasdaq" will be a good incentive for its partners and other international companies to develop cooperation with the AIFC.
In turn, A. Friedman shared her impressions of the work done by Kazakhstan on the creation of the International finance centre.
"We are very impressed with the plans for the development of the AIFC. We would like to note the thorough elaboration of all issues related to the work of the finance centre. We welcome such a solidary approach to this work", said the Head of "Nasdaq".
At the same time, A. Friedman expressed readiness to start cooperation with the AIFC and to provide the Kazakhstani exchange with advanced technologies for its operation.
At the talks, the sides noted the importance of taking joint efforts and establishing long-term links in the formation of a positive investment climate in Kazakhstan.
At the end, the Head of State invited A. Friedman to take part in an official opening ceremony of the AIFC on July this year.
