Kazakhstan to provide US with rail transit to Afghanistan
"The norms of this protocol provide for the inclusion in the transit route of a special cargo of the Aktau and Kuryk ports, which will allow for rail transportation to Afghanistan via the Caspian Sea. The committee is ready to take this draft law into practice and prepare an conclusion on it", said Maulen Ashimbayev.
We note, during the official visit of President Nursultan Nazarbayev to the United States of America, commercial contracts and agreements were concluded, in particular, a protocol was signed to the Agreement on the provision of commercial rail transit through the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
We remind, Speaker of the Mazhilis of the Parliament Nurlan Nigmatulin today outlined the main directions of the work of the Mazhilis.
