K.Tokayev: Kazakhstan and US have similar positions to issues of development of coop

Negotiations of President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev in the White House revealed the similarity in the positions of Kazakhstan and the USA to the issues of development of bilateral cooperation international situation, it was stated by Chairman of the Senate of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev commentating the official visit of Head of State Nursultan Nazarbayev to the USA.

"D. Trump called Kazakhstan a partner in the denuclearization of the Korean peninsula. This visit is historically important", notes the Kazakhstani senator.

He added that President N. Nazarbayev was received in Washington with the obvious courtesy and was named by D. Trump a leader "highly respected".

"It was an adequate assessment of the personality of the leader of Kazakhstan, who has undoubted merits in the country and in the international community", emphasizes K. Tokayev.

We remind, Head of State Nursultan Nazarbayev met with President of the United States of America Donald J.Trump. At the end of the receiving ceremony, Nursultan Nazarbayev left a record in the Book of Honored Guests of the White House.

After that, the Presidents of Kazakhstan and the US held negotiations, where the most current issues of bilateral relations and the international agenda were discussed.
