President of Kazakhstan met with head of OPIC

President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev met with president of the state agency "Overseas Private Investment Corporation" (OPIC) Ray Washburn in Washington, Akorda’s press-service reported.

During the conversation, the Head of State noted the importance of the meeting and told about the economic projects currently being implemented in Kazakhstan.

"We are implementing the "Digital Kazakhstan" program. We held an international exhibition "EXPO-2017". On the basis of its infrastructure, we are creating the "Astana" International Financial Center. Exceptional preferences are provided for all its participants", the President of Kazakhstan stated.

Nursultan Nazarbayev stressed the importance of strengthening relations in the field of investment and the implementation of mutually beneficial economic projects.

In turn, R. Washburn shared his impressions of visiting the exhibition "EXPO-2017" and talked about the upcoming signing of a memorandum of cooperation with the Kazakh company "Kazakh Invest".
