Special vault "Treasure of the Saks" opened in Astana
During the forum, the results of the works carried out in 2017 on the project "Sacred Geography of Kazakhstan" were announced, and plans for the following years were discussed, the National Museum reported.
"In 2017, at the First Republican Forum, we defined the goals and objectives of the project, dedicated to the sacred places of Kazakhstan. According to the plan, much work was done by the Ministry of Culture and Sport of Kazakhstan. In order to effectively implement the project of the geographical location of Kazakhstan in the National Museum of Kazakhstan in the field of development of local history "Sacral Kazakhstan", a special working group was created. In the scientific center "Sacral Kazakhstan" a scientific Expert Council was created. Scientists, historians, archaeologists, public figures and specialists in the field of history and local history took part in its work", K. Ualiyev, the responsible secretary of the Ministry of Culture and Sport of Kazakhstan, recalled.
Thus, within the framework of the Republican Forum, a special exhibition hall "Rukhani Zhangyru" opened its doors, where historical valuable exhibits are presented. Also, with the support of the Ministry of Culture and Sport of Kazakhstan, the opening ceremony of a special repository called "The Treasure of the Saks" was held. Representatives of the state bodies, heads of the regional departments of culture, tourism, directors of the republic and regional museums and museums-reserves, famous scientists got acquainted with the originals of archaeological artifacts belonging to the epochs of the Saks and Sarmatians.
The participants of the forum noted that one of the main works performed in 2017 is the national ethno-cultural expeditions to the sacral objects of Kazakhstan. The results of this expedition were announced at the forum, and the presentation of the books "Nationwide Sacred Objects of Kazakhstan", "Regional Sacred Objects of Kazakhstan" and the first volume of the encyclopedia "Sacral Kazakhstan" were held.
A multifunctional virtual map "Sacral Geography of Kazakhstan" for objects of the national importance was presented to the public.
An interactive map "Sacral Geography of Kazakhstan" was also presented for the objects of the regional importance.
A 40-second multimedia video about the objects of the national significance "Sacral Geography of Kazakhstan" in a mobile format in three languages: Kazakh, Russian and English was shown.
It should be noted that on the results of the forum, a group of local historians from the regions were awarded commemorative medals, as well as directors of the regional museums and other culture workers of regions were awarded the Certificate of Honor and Letters of thanks of the Minister of Culture and Sport of Kazakhstan.
