Mazhilis Bureau determined issues for plenary session
For consideration of the Chamber, ratification bills are introduced: amendments to the Convention between Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan on avoidance of double taxation and the Agreement of Kazakhstan with the United Nations on administrative and financial procedures for the Subregional Office for North and Central Asia.
"At the forthcoming plenary session, the Chamber is invited to determine the timeframe for the preparation of conclusions on new draft laws submitted to the Mazhilis", the message reads.
In the first block are draft laws with concomitant amendments on the Security Council, on the defense industry and the state defense order, on natural monopolies, on currency regulation and currency control.
In the second block, there are legislative amendments on the social security, the circulation of medicines and medical products. In this line there are also legislative innovations concerning the religious activity and religious associations, state purchases and purchases of subjects of the quasi-public sector.
And in the third there is a package of ratification acts: the Agreement on cooperation of the CIS member states in the field of information security, as well as the Agreement of Kazakhstan with Tajikistan on mutual provision of land for the construction of diplomatic missions. In this regard, the amendments to the agreements of Kazakhstan with Belarus on avoiding double taxation, as well as with the United States on providing commercial rail transit of a special cargo through Kazakhstan in connection with America's participation in efforts to stabilize and restore Afghanistan. Among the new bills is the Agreement on the procedure for the voluntary harmonization of specific subsidies for manufactured goods by the member states of the EAEU and the Eurasian Economic Commission.
