Stroke center to be opened in W.Kazakhstan this year
The participants of the meeting noted that one of the main tasks for the current year will be the opening of a stroke center in the Akzhaiyk district, the opening of a branch of the KAZNMU, Alma University, the achievement of 100% for a paperless hospital project, and major repairs in 21 facilities of the regional healthcare system.
In general, as Head of the Regional Healthcare Department Kanat Tosekbayev noted, there was a reduction in the indicators for total mortality of the population, maternal and infant mortality, tuberculosis and oncological diseases, but the death rate from injuries, accidents and poisonings increased.
"At the same time, the work on early detection of malignant tumors is not being carried out efficiently, as already at the level of providing primary medical care to the population, patients with neglected forms of chronic diseases are identified", said Kanat Tosekbayev.
Deputy Head of the Regional Healthcare Department, Gulnar Abdrakhmanova, announced the implementation of five of Roadmaps for the implementation of the integrated model of medical care for 2016-2019, patients with oncological diseases, strokes, acute myocardial infarctions, and injuries
"On the basis of the city polyclinic No.1, a rehabilitation department is opened with the use of new forms and methods, 10 otorhinolaryngological beds for adults are organized in the department of general surgery of the city multiprofile hospital, an emergency room is opened - a new format for the activities of the admission department of the regional clinical hospital. This year, as part of the pilot project, an electronic health passport is being introduced on the basis of the regional clinical hospital and city polyclinic No.3", she said.
But, despite 100% computer equipment, 399 medical facilities, which are part of 45 medical organizations - 120 of them still do not have access to the Internet (medical centers, obstetrical stations in remote border areas).
Also in the region the issue of providing young specialists with housing will be resolved.
