In West Kazakhstan, it is planned to create virtual tours and routes around the region within the program "Rukhani zhangyru" for the amount of 12 million tenge, it was known at the session of the expert council "Rukhani zhangyru", where results of 2017 were summarized and plans to implement the program for the near future were set.

According to Deputy Governor of the region Gabidolla Ospankulov, the last year was the year of establishment and an innitial stage of implementation of the "Rukhani zhangyru" program, which was marked in the region with landmark events.

"Thus, in 2017, the project office was opened, the museum" Rukhani zhangyru", which for today was attended by about 1500 people, famous philanthropists and sponsors of the region were awarded in the framework of a major forum, the "Zhomart zhurek" prize was awarded, projects in the region on the total amount of 2.6 billion tenge, both at the expense of budgetary funds, and within the framework of charitable assistance were implemented. In 2018, the Governor's Offices of the districts also proposed projects that were included in the map of "Rukhani zhangyru" and were coordinated with the republican project office", said G. Ospankulov.

In addition, within the framework of the subprogram "Tarbie zhane bilim" in 2017, such projects as "Olketanu", "Sanaly azamat", "Otan Tagdyrym" were implemented. A major event is the tourist-regional study expedition "Seven Wonders of Kazakhstan". In 2018, about 80 cognitive events are planned.

19 projects are planned to be implemented this year within the framework of "Rukhani kazyna", 244 projects are listed under the "Atameken" program. It is planned to further develop the ancient settlement "Zhaiyk", which is included in the list of sacral objects of Kazakhstan.

"Thematic expositions are planned, on May 21 the republican forum of cultural workers will be held, where West Kazakhstanis will also take part. It is planned to create virtual tours and marches around the region for the amount of 12 million tenge, and in the coming year projects on popularization of Kazakh culture with departure to the border regions of the Russian Federation will be implemented", was noted during the meeting.

As recommendations for the work for the near future, member of the council, director of the regional center of tourism and ecology, Victor Fomin, suggests that the pupils, students of higher and secondary special educational institutions also visit tourist and local lore activities, since at the moment they are divorced from this activity , and it would be useful for them to gain some knowledge and skills. For example, West Kazakhstani schoolchildren are champions of the country for rock climbing, despite the fact that West Kazakhstan region is a flat region.

In addition, V. Fomin spoke out for the necessity of curating the school museums by the Department of Culture and providing them with the necessary methodological assistance. Archaeologist, Head of the regional center of history and archeology Murat Sdykov notes that the creation of the museum requires systematic work.

The participants of the meeting notes that the ancient settlement "Zhaiyk" is a brand for the region. It is conveniently located for visits and gives a scientific grounding of the history of the city. This is a specific city, and specific people lived there. Therefore, the issue of creating a museum of the ancient settlement "Zhaiyk" should be approached carefully and responsibly.
