Scope of homework to be reduced for Kazakhstani schoolchildren
"Last year, the order of the Ministry of Education and Science of Kazakhstan "On regulation of homework" was adopted. To date, homework has been reduced by one third, this document is already in operation, starting from September 1 this year this work is provided at the normative level", Karinova said.
The Head of the Department noted that the Ministry is systematically working to reduce the burden on the student as a whole.
"We are now working to reduce the burden on the student as a whole. Sanitary requirements included norms that allow to fit into 5 working days. In the context of all links of education, these norms are specifically defined and reflected in the order of the Ministry of Education and Science of Kazakhstan. Today, the training load, which is set to do at home, should not exceed 150 minutes, this is also reflected in our order", the Head concluded.
