Half a million Kazakhstanis to be able to find jobs within state program in 2018
Among those who decided to find a job within the framework of the state program, 403,000 people (70.4%) are unemployed, 149,000 people (26%) are self-employed. At the same time, the proportion of young people under the age of 29 is 42.5%, the share of women is 49.2%, the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of Population of Kazakhstan reported.
"Over 315 thousand people were employed for permanent jobs. About 138 thousand people received temporary employment through youth practice programs, social workplaces and public works", the message reads.
In general, more than 85 billion tenge was provided for the implementation of the Program in 2017.
In 2018, within the framework of the Program, more than 500 thousand citizens are planned to take active measures of employment, the Ministry explained.
