Digital and migration PSC obtained official status in Astana
In the capital's center of migration services, launched in a pilot mode in December 2017, foreign citizens receive state services. They are provided here by the operators of "Government for Citizens" together with the migration police, using the standards of public service centers: electronic queue, a significant number of workplaces and reception specialists, a convenient schedule of work, the press-service of NJSC "Government for Citizens" informed.
"Migration PSC" is located on Imanov Street, 31 and accepts the beneficiaries from 9 am to 6.30 pm, without a break for lunch. Here you can immediately go through a medical examination, fingerprinting, issue an insurance policy, as well as get IIN. Now instead of 5 working days to get permission for work in Astana, foreigners can get in an hour", the report said.
By the way, for 2017 in Kazakhstan, more than 446,000 foreign citizens used the state service "Extradition and extension of permits to labor immigrants".
The Astana digital PSC in the test mode also functions since December last year. In the Digital PSC, the receipt of public services is fully automated, without the participation of operators. On each computer an intelligent assistant is installed, which performs the role of IT-consultant in the self-acquisition of public services by citizens. This is a new format for providing public services, in which citizens independently submit electronic applications through public access points, self-service "Connection point" and tablets in special stand-pavilions.
In addition, since December 20, to improve digital literacy of citizens, a class of training is working. The employees of the front-office conduct training free of charge, every hour, according to the schedule from 9.00 to 20.00 hours. Here, six days a week, those wishing can improve their skills of using the portal of e-government and independent receipt of public services.
