President of Kazakhstan instructed to implement pilot project on digitization of industrial enterprises
As noted by Nursultan Nazarbayev, industrialization should become more innovative, taking advantage of the new technological structure 4.0.
"It is necessary to develop and test new instruments aimed at modernizing and digitizing our enterprises with a focus on exporting products. They should primarily stimulate the transfer of technology. A pilot project on the digitization of several Kazakhstani industrial enterprises should be implemented, and then this experience should be widely spread. The most important issue is the development of own ecosystem of developers of digital and other innovative solutions. It must be created within innovation centers such as the Nazarbayev University, the AIFC and the Ingternational Technopark of IT-Start-ups. The organization of activity of the "Alatau" Park of innovative technologies needs serious revision", the President of Kazakhstan said.
The Head of State also stressed that the main factors for the success of the innovation ecosystem are the stimulation of demand for new technologies by the real sector and the functioning of the private venture financing market.
To this end, according to N. Nazarbayev, appropriate legislation is needed.
"In addition, the development of IT and engineering services is of particular importance. Digitalization of the economy, in addition to dividends, carries the risks of a large-scale release of labor. It is necessary to work out an agreed policy on the employment of the released labor in advance. It is necessary to adapt the education, communication and standardization system to the needs of the new industrialization", Nursultan Nazarbayev noted.
In this regard, the President instructed this year to begin the development of the third five-year industrialization plan, dedicated to the establishment of the industry of the "digital age".
We note, on January 10, the Address of Head of State Nursultan Nazarbayev to the people of Kazakhstan was published.
In the Address, the President outlined the ten main tasks that Kazakhstan needs to implement in 2018.
