Construction of 67 medical clinics to start in S.Kazakhstan

The construction of 67 medical clinics will start in South Kazakhstan region next year. It was announced by Head of the Regional Healthcare Department Mukan Yegizbayev at the expanded session of the regional Governor's Office, the press-service of the Governor's Office of South Kazakhstan region informed.

According to the Head of the department, last year the construction of 33 healthcare facilities was conducted in the region. In 2018, it is planned to build 9 medical facilities, including 6 polyclinics, 1 rural clinic and 2 medical dispensaries. In addition, this year in the city of Shymkent within the public-private partnership construction of 3 polyclinics will begin.

At the session, Head of the Regional Department of Finance Abdrakhman Tasybayev delivered a report on the execution of the budget for 2017. According to the results of 2017, the revenue plan of the state budget was fulfilled by 102.1%. thus 6.5 billion tenge of additional income was unplanned received to the budget. Including, the republican budget was fulfilled by 101.3 per cent, the budget surpluses are seen in the amount of 2.5 billion tenge. At the same time, the prevenue plan of the local budget fulfilled by 103.4 per cent, the amount of receipts increased by 4 billion tenge.

"According to the results of 2016, the receipts increased by 18.4 billion tenge", the Head of the regional department of finance said.

Reporting on the progress of privatization, Abdrakhman Batyrbekovich noted that to date, 10 out of 21 facilities subject to privatization in 2017 have been sold for a total of 557.63 million tenge. In general, in 2017, from the sale of property in the regional communal ownership, the regional budget received 129, 9 million tenge.

Summing up the meeting, Governor of the region, Zhanseit Tuimebayev, instructed to pay special attention to budget execution, the implementation of a comprehensive privatization plan within the established deadlines and to prevent reduction of the republican funds, and to implement a long-term plan for health protection in accordance with the "Densaulyk" state program.

"It is necessary to fully use the mechanisms of the public-private partnership in the development of the infrastructure system of healthcare. In this connection, I instruct to systematize the works, which will be implemented this year and to submit the comprehensive plan of actions", Zh. Tuimebayev said.
