Fines for vehicles with excess weight parameters reduced

Administrative fines for the passage of vehicles with excess weight parameters were reduced by 10-20 MCI.

On January 9, amendments and additions to the Code of Administrative Offenses of Kazakhstan concerning the sphere of transport entered into force. According to the amendments, administrative fines for driving MCI with excess weight parameters were reduced by 10-20 MCI. In addition, henceforth responsibility for such violation will occur when exceeding from one ton, the Ministry for Investments and Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan reported.

From 25 to 200 MCI, fines for foreign drivers for international transportation have been increased without a Kazakhstan permit form. A uniform fine was also imposed on foreign carriers in the amount of 100 MCI for the implementation of cabotage traffic in the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

In addition, a new administrative responsibility was intoduced:

- for violation of the rules for the carriage of goods, passengers, luggage and cargo luggage by railway transport (new part 4 of Article 571);

- fro non-presentation and non-fulfillment by the carrier of a consignment note (an act of measuring or weighing), a road list when carrying cargo, passengers and luggage by motor transport (new article 571-1);

- for the performance by foreign carriers of international road transport in the presence of an unfulfilled notice issued by the authorized body of transport control of the Member States of the EAEU, as well as deviation from the route specified in the notification (Part 6 of Article 573);

- for replacing (towing) a tractor or a truck to another tractor or a lorry that is not registered in the State where the carrier was registered (part 7 of Article 573);

- for the management of a small ship without unattended and wearing personal rescue equipment on persons on a small ships or a towed ships (Part 5 of Article 582).

We will add that part 6 of Article 593 (transportation by dump trucks), Article 574 (lack of a list of passengers), 576 (the lack of a contract of carriage for the performance of irregular intra-republican traffic), part 1 of Article 584 (violation of the rules for signaling during diving operations), 609 (transportation of passengers without an appropriate certificate) were excluded from the Code.
