Decrease in incidence of ARVI seen in Kazakhstan

8 January, 2018 18:03
Today morbidity in comparison with the last epidemiological season has decreased by 14.4%. 11% of the population were vaccinated. Nevertheless, Chief State Sanitary Doctor of the Republic Zhandarbek Bekshin recommends Kazakhstanis not to neglect preventive measures.

As he noted, in the first place, it is necessary to raise the immune forces of the body by means of crogators. Children are recommended to be more often in the open air, and a healthy sleep will support the general condition of the child.

"It is necessary to limit the participation of children in public events. If the child is sick, then in no case should not it be sent to the school or kindergarten", the speaker stressed.

According to Zhandarbek Bekshin, there are more than 10 antiviral and antibacterial effective medicines registered in Kazakhstan. But they should be used only after the appointment of a doctor.

"The main mistake is self-medication. Only a doctor can diagnose and determine the tactics of treatment. For example, viral diseases with antibiotics are not treated and not all people know about it. If there are signs of ARI or SARS, you should immediately contact a specialist", the Sanitary Doctor of the Republic of Kazakhstan said.

We note, this year in Kazakhstan the Russian vaccine against a flu has been delivered. There is a decrease in the incidence rate.
