Children's camp to be set up in Aktobe following example of "Artek"
The children's recreation area is located on an area of 13 hectares. Here, nature itself created the ideal conditions: the proximity of the river floodplain, a large number of trees, grass-rich meadows and sandy beaches. In the near future in the camp works on the construction of a new educational building, where children can live and rest without stopping from the educational process will begin, the Governor's Office of Aktobe region reported.
"The Head of State always pays special attention to the issues of comprehensive development of children, which constitute the main potential of our society. Therefore, we must make every effort to create a modern year-round children's camp in our region, following the example of "Artek". In the future, it should become international. Children from all regions, other regions of Kazakhstan and neighboring countries will come here", Governor of the region Berdybek Saparbayev said during a visit to the children's camp.
Last summer more than 112 thousand Aktobe schoolchildren had a rest in summer camps, which is about 92% of the total number of students. For these purposes, about 152 million tenge was allocated from the local budget.
In total in the region there are 11 country, 384 school and 37 tent camps. All the necessary conditions for full-fledged creative and personal development, the formation of a healthy lifestyle, the inculcation of spiritual and moral values and the improvement of children are created in them.
