More than 160 students from Akmola became winners of regional competition
Of them - 31 winners, 35 participants were awarded with diplomas of the second degree, 95 - diplomas of the third degree and 29 participants were awarded with diplomas, the press-service of the Education Department of Akmola region reports.
The Competition was attended by 378 students from 17 districts, the cities of Kokshetau, Stepnogorsk, and 4 regional specialized schools for gifted children - the winners of the district stage.
The Competition was conducted in general subjects: the Kazakh language and literature, the Russian language and literature, the history of Kazakhstan, the basics of law, English, German, French, mathematics, computer science, physics, chemistry, biology, geography.
"Analysis of the results of the Competition allows to draw a conclusion about the active participation of schoolchildren of city and district schools. Members of the jury on geography, chemistry, biology, mathematics note the increased, in comparison with previous years, level of complexity of assignments. High level of theoretical knowledge was shown by the participants of the Competition in the subjects: the Kazakh language and literature, English, the basics of jurisprudence, chemistry, geography. The dynamics of the quality of knowledge in the subject of English in students of 11 classes is observed, attention is drawn to systematic and consistent training in this subject", Head of the Education Department of Akmola region Talgat Zhunusov said.
He noted that the most effective were the teams of the boarding school "Bilim-Innovation" in Kokshetau from 58 participants 46 were prize-winners. Students from the city of Kokshetau and the Burabay district showed good results, 12 prizewinners from 24 participants. Teams of the Yessil, Atbasar, Zerendinsky and Bulandynsky districts were quite successful.
"Our winners will take part in the Republican stage of the Competition, which will take place in Aktau on the subjects of the natural-mathematical cycle and in Kostanay on the subjects of the humanitarian cycle in March", Hhe head of the Education Department said.
The Competition is held throughout the academic year in four stages according to the programs of secondary and general secondary education, for each subject: the first stage in the education organizations, the second in the district (city) ones, the third in the regional ones and the fourth in the republicanones. Tasks for the second, third and fourth stages of the Competition are prepared by the republican methodical council for general secondary education programs and approved by the Republican Scientific and Practical Center "Daryn".
