Bus route from Kazakhstan to Uzbekistan launched

The passenger bus Shymkent-Tashkent will run daily.

The opening of the international bus route Shymkent-Tashkent was held. Trips in this direction will be carried out by comfortable buses daily from 06:00 to 20:00 with a frequency of 1 hour, the Ministry for Investments and Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan reported.

The total travel time will be 4 hours without technical stops. Buses, passengers and luggage will pass customs inspection and border control out of turn.

Carriers from the Kazakhstani side will be KazNetworkBus LLP, from the Uzbek side - ManzaraTourism Co. LTD.

"It is planned that during 2018 regular bus services will be gradually opened between other major cities of the two countries. There was no passenger bus transportation between Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan for 17 years", the Ministry for Investments and Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan noted.

We note that the permission to carry out regular international road transportations along the route Shymkent-Tashkent was given on December 26, 2017.
