Volume of investments in Almaty increased by 15%
Thus, the volume of the gross regional product for the first half of 2017 was 4370.9 billion tenge. Compared to the corresponding period of 2016, real GRP increased by 4%. In the GRP structure, the share of production of goods was 7.6%, services - 85.9%.
At the same time, the volume of investments in fixed assets for January-November 2017 amounted to 539519.5 million tenge, which is 15.7% more than in January-November 2016.
In addition, the volume of industrial production in 2017 was 723.4 billion tenge in current prices, and increased by 3.5%. In manufacturing, production increased by 3.4%, electricity, gas and air conditioning increased by 5.8%, water supply, sewerage, control over collection and distribution of waste decreased by 4%.
"The volume of gross output of agricultural products (services) in January-November 2017 amounted to 4,980.3 million tenge, which is 15.7% more than in January-November 2016. The volume of construction works (services) last year totaled 256607.2 million tenge, and increased by 2.2%", the department added.
