Mazhilis Deputies got acquainted with activity of Akmola plant
In Stepnogorsk, the parliamentarians met with the labor collective of JSC"European Bearing Corporation". Having familiarized with the working cycle, the Mazhilismen held talks with the workers and engineers of the plant. The Deputies drew attention to the stage-by-stage development of the industry in the region, noting that large enterprises of the region now provide orders not only to domestic small and medium-sized businesses, but also foreign ones.
"We saw the production process, talked to employees, learned their problems and answered their questions. For workers a social package is provided, the average salary reaches 140-150 thousand tenge. In addition, the workers are provided with appropriate medical services", Deputy Zhanat Omarbekova said.
Today the plant operates in accordance with the requirements of the quality management system ISO 9001-2001. The plant carriedout the work on the implementation of the railway standard IRIS, which provides an effective control of all processes in the production of bearings. Within the framework of the Business Support Map, in December 2015, an investment project was implemented to transfer the nomenclature of spherical bearings produced by OJSC "EBC-Moscow" to JSC "SBP". Since the beginning of the project, 127,504 new types of bearings have been produced, including spherical ones - 40955 pieces. Capacity of the enterprise: 1,9 million bearings a year.
Also, as part of the working trip, the elected representatives visited the central city hospital, where they discussed the conditions and principles of medical insurance. Medical workers asked about the payment of pension savings when they retired, and the retirement of women.
