Customs Code of EAEU entered into force

The treaty on the Customs Code of the Eurasian Economic Union (CC EAEU) of April 11, 2017, entered into force from Januaty 1, 2018, the press-service of the Eurasian Economic Commission reports.
Earlier, all five Member States of the Eurasian Economic Union ratified the Treaty on the Customs Code of the EAEU and sent notofications to the Eurasian Economic Commission about the execusion of interstate procedures needed for entering of the international treaty into force.
After the entry of the Treaty on the Customs Code of the Eurasian Economic Union of April 11, 2017, into force, the Treaty on the Customs Code of the Customs Union of Novermber 27, 2009, as well as a number of international agreements, which regulate customs legal relations and which were signed at the stage of the Customs Union cease to operate.
