7 new industrial projects to be launched in Astana this year

The total cost of projects is 17 billion tenge. Over 600 new jobs will be created at industrial facilities.
Industrial production in the capital grew by 7.2% and amounted to 426.1 billion tenge, mainly due to engineering and metallurgy, Industrialization Map projects, the official website of the Astana Mayor's Office informs.
The main products of the industrial production sector are construction materials, food products, light industry, production of rubber products and others.
The 778.4 billion tenge investment was attracted to the economy of the capital, as well as a 3.6-fold increase was marked in foreign investment.
