Results of cooperation btwn Kazakhstan and Poland in 2017 summarized in Warsaw

The Embassy of Kazakhstan to Poland held a "round table" dedicated to summarizing the results of cooperation between Kazakhstan and Poland in 2017.

Opening the meeting, Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Poland Margulan Baymukhan, in a solemn ceremony, presented the honored figures of Poland with the jubilee medal awarded by the Decree of President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev and the medal of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan for significant contribution to the development and strengthening of Kazakhstani-Polish relations, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan informed.

During the meeting, a presentation was presented on the investment attractiveness of Kazakhstan, the priority sectors in the development of country's economy, favorable tax regime and key indicators in the Kazakhstani-Polish cooperation, as well as information on the important political and economic events to come in 2018 in our country, first of all on Kazakhstan's chairmanship in the UN Security Council and on the celebration of the 20th anniversary of Astana.

The participants in the round table exchanged views on the current state of cooperation between the two countries, positively assessing the implementation of the agreements reached between the meetings of President of Kazakhstan N. Nazarbayev and Poland A. Duda in 2016 and 2017.

The representatives of business and scientific circles of Poland noted the importance in increasing the dynamics of economic cooperation, stressing the constructive nature of cooperation in all spheres.

All participants of the meeting highly appreciated the changes and initiatives implemented in Kazakhstan, and expressed the desire to continue active cooperation in the future.

The event was attended by representatives of the Polish administration, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, business circles, the expert community, the Polish public and the media, as well as representatives of the Kazakh diaspora, polonium and the student community.
