Prime-Minister of RK called Governors to apply services of "Smart city"
"This Smart City project works within the framework of "Digital Kazakhstan". The program was adopted only recently, but nevertheless, the work from last year has been conducting in the pilot mode in different cities. I think that in fact in all cities the work is carried out. However, we should hurry, you cannot postpone it for a long time. Well, that a single concept was approved. Smart city initially assumes that this is primarily a convenience for residents of a particular city", B. Sagintayev said.
According to the Prime Minister, residents should use these services.
"I would like to ask Governors to upload mobile applications to smartphones and check how they work. You can control it yourself and use it yourself. Only in this way it can be implemented. Then, the work will go faster", the Head of Government addressed.
In this regard, Bakytzhan Sagintayev instructed Vice-Premier of the Republic of Kazakhstan Askar Zhumagaliyev to supervise the work on the "Smart city" project.
Earlier, Minister of Information and Communications of Kazakhstan Dauren Abayev told how Smart City will develop in the five largest cities of the country - Smart Astana, Smart Karaganda, Smart Ontystuk, Smart Aktobe, Smart Almaty. Governor's Offices are the main executors of these projects.
