K.Bozumbayev: Consumers are fully provided with electrocity and thermal energy
"The energy system of Kazakhstan operates in a regular mode, consumers are provided with electricity and heat in full. To eliminate comments made at the meeting of the Government on September 5, proper work was carried out by central and local executive bodies. Scheduled for the current year repair works at power plants are almost complete. 8 blocks, 87 boilers and 35 turbines, as well as 24.2 thousand kilometers of power lines were repaired", the Minister said.
At the same time, according to Kanat Bozumabyev, in some regions repair works are being carried out with a backlog.
"For example, the modernization of two hydroelectric generators at the Shardarinsk HPP, started in 2015, has not been completed. In this connection, the unoccupied water discharges are conducted at the hydroelectric power station. Completion of works is planned only next year. For effective use of water resources it is necessary JSC "Samruk-Energo" to take additional measures", the Head of the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan said.
According to the Minister, over 4.3 million tons of coal and 111,000 tons of fuel oil have been accumulated in the fuel depots of power plants, which corresponds to the approved standards. The coal stock in the district heating district is 792.4 thousand tons.
"Since the beginning of the current year of the heating season, with a decrease in the outdoor temperature, 37 facts of non-compliance with the thermal schedule for the operation of heat networks have been noted, which is 3 times less than in the previous year. Since the beginning of the autumn-winter period of 2017-2018, the Unified Electric Power System operates without major technological violations", Bozumbaev noted.
Also, as the Minister added, in accordance with the applications of the Governor's Office, the Ministry of Energy approved the Schedule of regions fastening to supply fuel oil to social and production facilities in the amount of 312 thousand tons for the autumn-winter period 2017-2018.
