New academic year for military pilots of Kazakhstan began with commander's flights
Within the framework of conducting commander's flights, pilots perform the most complex elements of flight training: flight in meteorological conditions and instrument landing using a radar system. Prior to the flight, preliminarily flights were held for all types of flight training under the given conditions, the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Kazakhstan informed.
"During commander's flights, instructor-methodological knowledge was checked and personal skills of instructor-pilots were improved, and the skills of interaction between crews and the flight management team were worked out", the report said.
Pilots of military transport aviation have completed regular checks to simulate engine failure and piloting technique. In the flights, army helicopters Mi-8 and Mi-17, UH-1 H-II (Huey) and military transport aircraft S-295 were used.
