Remains of Kazakhstan warrior of WWII to be brought from Ukraine

Kiev held a solemn campaign to transfer the remains of a Kazakhstan soldier of the Great Patriotic War.

Kiev held a solemn campaign to transfer the remains of Kazakhstan soldier of the Great Patriotic War Aip Ramazanov, who died in battle with the fascist invaders in Ukraine, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan informed.

The Embassy of Kazakhstan in Ukraine worked out all the issues related to processing the relevant documents and transferring the remains to Kazakhstan. The event was attended by Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Ukraine Samat Ordabayev and Chairman of the Security Service of Ukraine Vasily Gritsak.

The Foreign Ministry told that as a result of conducting search operations by the cadets of the National Academy of the Security Service of Ukraine near the city of Berezan in Kiev region, the remains of warrior of the Great Patriotic War Aip Ramazanov, a native of North Kazakhstan region of the KazSSR, were found. According to available information, Ramazanov Aip was drafted into the ranks of the USSR Armed Forces in 1941 and was disappeared on January 29, 1942.
