Center for studying birds to operate in Korgalzhyn district
"The Ornithological Center assumes the development of ornithology in the region. It is known that 76% of the bird diversity of the country is located on the territory of the Korgalzhyn Nature Reserve. The center was created with the aim of inculcating the love of the younger generation to their native land, broadening the horizons of knowledge about the animal world", the Regional Communications Service reports.
By the way, "Tuspecov" IE invested 53.5 million tenge in the reconstruction of the building. This project is implemented within the framework of the program "Rukhani zhangyru", together with the Governor's Office of the Korgalzhyn district, the Korgalzhyn state natural reserve, the National Delphic Committee of Kazakhstan, the scientific research institute of zoology under the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Specialists of the National Delphic Committee of Kazakhstan have developed a number of practical and methodological documents for use in the work of the ornithological center, such as a field diary with a list of all the birds in the reserve and a diary of observations on the life and activities of birds. They are supposed to be used in working with children.
In the Regional Communications Service it was informed that within the framework of scientific projects it is planned to conduct all sorts of intellectual-search quests, using the principles of ornithology. The goal of the center is to popularize the cultural heritage of the Korgalzhyn district.
