Kazakhstan's employment centers to operate using international standards from January
"As part of the development of labor market institutions, an electronic labor exchange has been introduced since October this year. For today it contains 25,5 thousand vacancies, almost 7 thousand resumes in four regions. During the pilot work, the number of vacancies presented by the employer increased twofold, and the number of employment by 6.5%. In four pilot employment centers (Almaty, Astana, Pavlodar, Shymkent), a transformation was carried out with the transition to international standards for the provision of services. From January 1, these approaches will be implemented in all regions", T. Duisenova informed.
The Minister noted that the draft law, which provides for a full-scale transformation of state employment centers and the involvement of private employment agencies, is currently under consideration in the Mazhilis of Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
