Migration PSC to open in Astana
"Until the end of this year, together with the Ministry of Internal Affairs, we plan to launch a pilot project in Astana - the migration PSC, within which we plan to provide services for the registration of foreign citizens on a "single window" principle so that foreign citizens can also get services without problems in Kazakhstan. Services for the registration of foreign citizens will be provided by employees of the state corporation", A. Ospanov said.
According to the state corporation, the migration PSC will be opened on Imanov Street and will receive people from 9 am to 6.30 pm, without a break for lunch.
The Head of the state corporation also informed that by the end of the year residents of Kokshetau and Semey are expecting the opening of new special PSCs, in which motorists will be able to obtain driving licenses and register vehicles. And in the first quarter of 2018, special PSCs will appear in Uralsk and Atyrau.
"Thus, we will completely cover all regions by special PSCs for issuing in an automated format, passing a practical examination and getting a driver's license", A. Ospanov concluded.
He also talked about the digital literacy center, which works in Astana in the PSC of the Yessil district on Sauran Street, 7.
"Now, the center has been operating in a pilot mode to improve the efficiency of electronic services, reduce paperwork and promote digital culture among citizens. The Digital Literacy Improvement Center is a modern format for the provision of public services in which citizens independently receive electronic public services through public access points and the Connection point self-service sector in special pavilions of the state corporation. Every day specialists of the state corporation will conduct training in obtaining public services through the e-government portal. Free classes are scheduled for each hour on a specific schedule", A. Ospanov concluded.
