System of environmental initiatives advances in Kazakhstan - A.Solovyova
So, this site will serve to promote systemic environmental initiatives and the introduction of "green" technologies.
According to the speaker, in December this year the first meeting of the Association members will take place in the format of a round table. The event will discuss issues on improving the legislation of Kazakhstan on environmental issues.
"Subsequently, issues ranging from the state of water and land resources, emissions into the atmosphere to the health of the nation will be addressed. I believe that for today there is a need to unite the efforts of the forces of society in the name of a noble goal. After all, the state of the surrounding environment concerns everyone without exception", Aigul Solovyova stressed.
As she noted, the basis and foundation for the establishment of the Association were the initiatives of the Head of State. The "Kazakhstan-2050" Strategy, the National Plan - 100 Steps to Implement Five Institutional Reforms, President's Address: Modernization 3.0 served as a reliable impetus for activating the practical actions of environmental NGOs.
"The holding of EXPO-2017 has become a demonstration platform and instrument for achieving 17 goals in the field of sustainable development and meeting the objectives of the Paris Climate Agreement. From the first days of independence, our civil society has an impetus for development in this area", the Chairwoman of the Board of the Association of Environmental Organizations of Kazakhstan said.
It should be noted that the Association sets the task of mobilizing the efforts of the society and interested structures for the consolidated achievement of improving the ecological environment of the country.
