Kazakhstan startups took part in festival in Singapore
As the Center informed, the domestic developers demonstrated their projects to the Leaders of the world fintech industry, took part in various workshops and trainings, and also got an opportunity to attract the interest of global investors to their projects.
"Participation in the FinTech Festival-2017 in Singapore offers great opportunities for fintech startups. Not only Asian investors and financiers take part in the event, but also representatives of the United States and Europe. Owing to this, we were able to expand our circle of acquaintances around the world, as well as to get acquainted and learn from the representatives of the largest companies in the sector", Finteh entrepreneur and founder of LendexAlexey Sidorov said.
"I am grateful to the AIFC for organizing the participation of Kazakhstan fintech companies in this festival. For our project, following the results of the meetings held in Singapore, the prospects of work in Asia are being opening, including the creation of partnerships, attraction of venture financing and acceleration", founder of the start-up project StockMetrixaid Doszhan Zhusupov said.
The startups, who were honored to represent Kazakhstan in Singapore, were selected in the framework of the AIFC FinTech Innovation Day, which was held in Astana with the participation of the world-famous investor and venture capitalist Tim Draper. In total, about 100 startups of different directions took part in the FinTech Innovation Day. Top 5 of them were invited to take part in FinTech Festival-2017.
