Results of implementation of annual plan of "Nurly Zher" state program voiced

Based on the results of 10 months, due to all sources of financing, residential buildings with a total area of 8.8 million square meters were commissioned (77 thousand dwellings). This amounted to 87% of the annual plan of "Nurly Zher" Program and 9.5% higher than in the same period of 2016.

According to Chairman of the Committee for Construction and Housing and Communal Services of the Ministry for Investment and Development of Kazakhstan, Markhabat Zhaiymbetov, the growth rate of the housing construction is observed in 15 regions of the country. Among them, Mangistau region (464.2 thousand sq. m.), Almaty region (387.3 thousand sq. m.), Kyzylorda region (381.3 thousand sq. m.) and Atyrau region (373,6 thousand sq. m.) are leaders in the introduction of individual housing.

"Within the first direction of the Program for the construction of rental housing this year 25 billion tenge has been allocated to Governor’s Offices. The construction of almost 6,000 apartments has begun, half of which will be built before the end of the year", the Committee Chairman said.

The speaker noted that for the development of individual housing construction the work is underway to bring engineering communications to more than 60,000 land plots. "Now in 6 regional centers the implementation of a pilot project for the construction of individual houses in a single architectural style has been started. To date, there is a construction of 1975 houses, of which 362 individual houses will be commissioned this year. Under "Nurly Zher" program it is planned to hand over 15 thousand credit apartments, of which 8770 have been built to date", M. Zhaiymbetov noted.

In the fourth direction, the work is also dynamically carried out to support the construction of housing by private developers. At present, developers with 35 projects with a total cost of 57.2 billion tenge turned to banks to receive subsidized loans, of which 18 projects for the amount of 23.9 billion tenge were approved for subsidizing.

It should be noted that within the program it is planned to issue subsidized loans for 152 billion tenge and to provide construction of 600 thousand sq. m. of housing in 2018-2019. Also, five second-tier banks under "Nurly Zher" program are actively implementing mortgages, they accepted 797 applications of Kazakhstanis to receive mortgages, of which 747 loans for the amount of 7.4 billion tenge were approved.
