Solar and wind power stations to be built in Karaganda rgn
All six stations should be launched by the end of 2020. Projects are financed by private investors. Total for construction and commissioning will be 163 billion tenge.
"In June of this year, the construction of a solar power plant in Sarani began, which will become the largest in Central Asia. Its capacity is 100 MW. In a year it will give 145 million kW of energy", the report said.
According to the information, one solar power plant according to plan should appear in the Shet district, near the village of Agadyr. It will be built at the expense of “KazSolar” LLP, with a capacity of 50 MW.
“KPM-Delta” LLP will build a solar power plant with a capacity of 40 MW in the Aktogay district in the village of Gulshat.
A new power plant operating on wind power with a capacity of 10 MW will appear in the Osakarov district in the village of Osakarovka.
Also, one wind power plant with a capacity of 10 MW will be built in Karkaraly.
In the Abay distrcit "Agrofirma Kurma" LLP will supply a biogas plant with a capacity of 1 MW.
Energy that these stations will generate is planned to be purchased centrally by the Ministry of Energy. Then it will be distributed over KEGOK networks. Consumers will get energy at tariffs set in the regions. In Karaganda it is 10-11 tenge per kilowatt.
