19 objects included in list of country’s sacral places in Karaganda rgn
"The map will be shared. Places recognized as sacral at the republican level will be marked in one color, regional sacred places will be marked by others. In Karaganda region, originally it is planned to mark 16 sacred places, but on the proposals of residents and representatives of the regional culture department three more objects were added in this list. Thus, it is planned to mark 19 sacred places of republican significance and 54 - regional. The exact, approved list of all sacred places will be introduced to the public in the near future", Head of the “Sacral Kazakhstan” Research Center Berik Abdygaliuly said.
We note that earlier about 50 sacred places entered in the list of Karaganda region. Of these, 16 were planned to be included in the map of the republican significance, the others should be marked at the regional level. But later this list was decided to expand. It added the burial places Agybay-batyr and Berdykozh-batyr, as well as the burial places of Tattimbet and Madi. The Republican list included the Museum of Remembrance of Victims of Political Repressions “Karlag” and the Museum of the First President in Temirtau.
According to Berik Abdygaliuly, this is not a religious and not a scientific one, but a spiritual project.
"Therefore, first of all, the cultural value of these places will be promoted. The project is designed for five years. This year, the goal is to identify 100 objects of national level, widely known among the people. We divided these sacred places into five categories: natural, archaeological, historical, religious monuments, as well as places of life and burial of great historical figures and places where significant historical and political events took place", he said.
We note, the research center "Sacral Kazakhstan" was established in May in the National Museum of the Republic of Kazakhstan under the Ministry of Culture and Sports. This structure appeared to implement the program article of President Nursultan Nazarbayev "The Course towards Future: Modernization of Public Conscience", where the national spirit is named as the main factor of the successful development of the State, in addition to material, natural and human resources.
