Armed Forces of Kazakhstan being transferred for winter operation period
Within the established time frame, it is necessary to serve military and special equipment qualitatively, check the state of armament and eliminate the identified problems.
"The complexity of this work partly lies in the preparation of weapons and combat vehicles for operation in harsh climatic conditions in a short time without reducing the level of combat readiness and stopping training sessions", the Ministry of Defense explained.
The main load in this process falls on the shoulders of the crews (drivers and mechanics-drivers) and calculations, commanders of all degrees, their deputies in material and technical support (MTS).
In strictly allotted time, servicemen need to replace low-coolant fluids, filter elements and worn-out rubber products, change oils and greases, regulate units and mechanisms, and repair. It is equally important to establish proper order in the territory of each fleet of combat vehicles, conduct current repairs of storage facilities, park facilities, and service production equipment.
In the formations and units with all categories of servicemen, demonstrative classes were held to organize seasonal work in the fleet of combat vehicles, as well as to observe safety measures when working on machinery. At the same time, the technology and sequence of operations on preparation and maintenance, the features and procedures for using equipment and weapons in the cold season were studied in detail. All military units and units are provided with necessary spare parts, tools and all kinds of fuel.
The Ministry noted that during seasonal works special attention will be paid to the technical condition of combat and special equipment, as well as cars intended for the transport of personnel and dangerous goods.
