Entrepreneurs from Hungary intend to establish joint plants in SK
During the meeting, the sides discussed the matters on development of trade and economic, social and humanitarian and cultural relations. The Governor of the region has also told foreign guests about the main indicators of social and economic development of South Kazakhstan region, and about presenting perks to foreign investors.
“South Kazakhstan region is an agrarian region. 300 tons of cotton are produced a year. The sphere of agriculture is a priority one. The region plants berries, vegetable and cucurbitaceous crops. Besides, the industry potential is getting better every year. To date, 11 industrial and 1 special economic zone operate in the region. The zones have infrastructure, and the perks are foreseen for foreign investors”, Zh. Tuimebayev said.
In turn, guests from the Hungarian Republic expressed confidence in further development of relations between the two countries. Representatives of the delegation expressed a solid intention of close cooperation in the sphere of agriculture, as well as increase of cultural and humanitarian and trade and economic relations.
“Hungary is an important trade and economic partner of Kazakhstan. The Kazakh-Hungarian council has been actively operating between the two countries, as well as the intergovernmental commission for economic cooperation, the Business council and the joint fund for investments. Using these possibilities we intend to create joint plants in South Kazakhstan region. Without any doubt that these steps will facilitate to development of further relations between the two countries”, Consul General of Hungary Ference Blaumann.
It should be noted that interaction between the two countries increases every year. For the first half-year of 2017, turnover between Hungary and Kazakhstan comprised 1 million dollars.
We note that in January 28, 2017, the visit of Secretary of State of the Ministry of external economic relations and foreign affairs of Hungary Mikola Istvan and Ambassador of Hungary to Kazakhstan Andrash Barani was held. According to the results of the visit, the Honored Consulate of Hungary in Shymkent with Honored Consul K. Moldaseitov was opened.
