Belarus interested in Astana's experience in holding EXPO-2017
The sides discussed the cooperation issues in the field of architecture and town planning, the use of smart technologies, urban management, the use of standards for energy-efficient "green" construction, construction of roads, public transport and landscaping.
The main issue was the exchange of experience and cooperation in the use of energy-efficient technologies in the development of cities. In addition, the parties discussed industrial cooperation in the field of production of municipal equipment.
Along with this, the delegation of Belarus visited "Astana GenPlan" and held additional meetings with the city leadership.
We remind that on the instructions of the Head of State in Astana until 2020, the city development program operates, according to which the capital is formed as a smart and safe city, a regional international hub for investors and innovations within the region.
