There are 450 objects of cultural and historic importance in Kazakhstan
The team with a cartographer and topographer, a geodesist and a 3D-operator, arrived to the East Kazakhstan with the aim to include sacral, historical and cultural and tourist objects of the region into the virtual map.
According to the organizers of the project, study of cultural and touristic clusters, systematization and scientific mapping of the most unique objects among historic and cultural heritage and tourism of Kazakhstan based on the “National plan – 100 concrete steps”, as well as on the Concept of cultural policy of Kazakhstan of 2014 and the Concept of tourism development till 2020 will be accomplished.
In this connection, the research groups were established and the program “All-nation project on designing of virtual map of cultural and tourism attraction of Kazakhstan” was developed, as well as the “Maps of localization of public pilgrimage in Kazakhstan with necessary materials (historic facts, legends, myths)”.
In general, there are around 450 objects of cultural and historic importance (parks, squares, historic places, tourism zones and others) and 400 places for pilgrimage. 32 objects of East Kazakhstan region got interested scientists.
“This time in the East Kazakhstan, I have got familiarized with many new wonderful and interesting places. The region’s distinctives are wonderful nature, and many sacral, historic places, with tourism potential and industrial zones. All of these will be included into the virtual map. We plan to finish the work and launch the map by 2019”, senior scientific worker of the Kazakh research institute of culture of the MCS of the RK Tugelbay Bekbergenov said.
Scientists have studied the attractions of Semey and neighboring area yet, and now arrived in Oskemen, visited a new park “Nurly zhol”, which was visited by Head of State Nursultan Nazarbayev. They also intend to visit the Berel Burial Mounds, the Shilikty valleys, Belukha mountains and so on.
It should be noted, that the virtual map of historic and cultural heritage and types of tourism of Kazakhstan with 3D photos, videos, objects’ passports will be included into the map in the Google.
