New college opened in South Kazakhstan region

One more educational institution was opened in South Kazakhstan region. It will focus on the education of the demanded specialties in the labor market, the press service of the region’s governor office reports.

Academic building for 360 places and hostel for 180 students of the college № 19 were opened in Shayan village of Baidibek district.

Construction of these facilities started in 2009, and 2 454.0 million tenge was allocated for this purpose from the national budget. LLP "ShymkentGaz” carried out the construction work.

The education building has 15 classrooms including six special technology rooms, six language laboratories and three Informatics rooms.

In addition, it provides chemistry, biology, physics,  methodological, medical, procedural rooms, 8 workshops, a dining room for 90 people, a conference room with 156 seats, library, sports complex and room for teachers,

College №19 will become a regional institution, where young people will receive vocational education from Turkestan city, Otyrar, Sozak, Baidybek, Ordabassy districts.
