Kazakh Ministry of Environment and Water Resources discussed implementation of programs for production waste management and consumption

Yesterday, Minister of Environment and Water Resources of the Republic of Kazakhstan Nurlan Kapparov held meeting of the Board, the press service of the agency reports.

“Board discussed the implementation of natural resources management programs for waste production and consumption, as well as discussing the problem of the Ministry to implement the Concept of the Republic of Kazakhstan transition to the "green" economy,” a statement reads.

Following the discussions, Board adopted a resolution in which the Committee on Environmental Control recommended to analyze coordinated waste management programs in terms of natural resources combined commitments and planned to reduce the amount of waste in the workplace.
