Amendments to rules on assignment and renaming objects of state property made

On Amendments to Decree No. 281 of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan of March 5, 1996 "On approval of the rules for assigning names to airports, ports, railway stations, metro stations, bus stations, physical and geographical and other objects of the state ownership in the territory of Kazakhstan, as well as renaming, clarifying and changing transcriptions and their names and appropriation of own names of persons to state legal entities, legal entities with the participation of the state".
The Government of Kazakhstan DECIDES:
To introduce in Resolution No. 281 of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan of March 5, 1996 "On approval of the rules for assigning names to airports, ports, railway stations, metro stations, bus stations, physical and geographical and other objects of the state ownership in the territory of Kazakhstan, as well as renaming, clarifying and changing transcriptions and their names and appropriation of own names of persons to state legal entities, legal entities with the participation of the state" (Collected Acts of the President and the Government of Kazakhstan, 1996, №11, article 81), the following change:
In the Rules for assigning names to airports, ports, railway stations, metro stations, bus stations, physical and geographical and other objects of the state ownership in the territory of Kazakhstan, as well as renaming, clarifying and changing transcriptions and their names and appropriation of own names of persons to state legal entities, legal entities with the participation of the state, approved by this decree: subparagraph 4) of paragraph 2 to read as follows: "4) appropriation of the proper names of outstanding state and public figures, scientists, culture and other persons who have merit to the Republic of Kazakhstan and the world community;".
The decree will come into effect from the date of its first official publication.
