At the same time, the Red Book of Cultural Heritage Objects and an atlas, where natural, historical and other features will be reflected, will be issued.
To date, in Eastern Kazakhstan, 37 significant projects have been identified to implement the program of modernization of public consciousness. Governor of the region Danial Akhmetov supported this initiative of scientists.
"The Red Book will gather the most complete scientific information about the objects of the cultural heritage of the region. This will allow not only to include unique places in tourist routes but also to create the unique open-air museum", D. Akhmetov said.
East Kazakhstan’s experts analyzed 154 proposals received from universities and departments. They chose 37 priority projects of historical, cultural, local lore, tourism, information directions.
Members of the working group have begun developing a map of the sacred places of the region. It includes the Konyr-Aulie cave in Abai district, the Shiliktin valley, the Berel burial mounds, Belukha mountain, the mausoleum of Irgizbay Doskanauly with appropriate scientific justifications and descriptions. The map will be replenished.
