Pavlodar rgn: 1412 objects received passport of readiness
Currently, over 28,000 people with disabilities live in Pavlodar region, which is 3.7% of the total population.
In addition, a network of institutions for the development of inclusive education was established, which covers 3,598 children or 89.3% of the total number of children with special educational needs to be educated.
"As a result of last year, the social part of the individual rehabilitation programs for disabled people is 92% completed, and the professional one - 97%. The volume of funds for the rehabilitation of disabled people in the current year amounted to 2748.9 million tenge. More than 90% of people in difficult life situations are provided with social services in the centers of special social services and in social welfare offices", the message reads.
We remind that in Pavlodar region under the patronage of the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection a two-day republican seminar "On the comprehensive implementation of the Action Plan to ensure the rights and improve the quality of life of people with disabilities in the Republic of Kazakhstan for 2012-2018" is held.
During the seminar it is planned not only to exchange experience in creating a barrier-free environment for low-mobility groups of the population but also to discuss the work of local executive bodies to ensure employment of persons with disabilities, provide special social services for people with disabilities with psychoneurological diseases, the rehabilitation of persons with disabilities within the state social order in partnership with NGOs.
