Kazakh students to study by Singaporean curriculum

Memorandum of Understanding between Humanities University of Transport and Law named after D.Kunayev and Management Development Institute of Singapore and “Informatics” Academy was signed at the Embassy of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Singapore, according to the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Within the agreement it is planned to teach English language at D.Kunayev Humanities University of Transport and Law by Singaporean training programs and introduce a one-year foundation course for students willing to continue higher education in Singapore. In addition, possible implementation of the "Public Administration and Management" program is considered, which will avail Kazakhstani students an opportunity to study at two iniversities simultaneously.

Cooperation with the Informatics Academy with branches around the world includes the establishment in Kazakhstan a joint educational institution providing educational services by Singaporean academic programs.

"The Memorandum provides development of cooperation in the field of education, in particular, the establishment of training programs for information technology and management," a statement reads.
