Mangistau rgn: 1 750 children from low-income families to visit EXPO-2017

At the expense of the local budget, 1,750 children from low-income families in Mangistau region will visit EXPO-2017 exhibition, Deputy Governor of Mangistau region Rakimbek Amirzhanov said during a stuff meeting.

According to the Deputy Governor, nowadays 19 enterprises of the region have confirmed the participation of the employees at the expense of the companies. This is 7,480 people, of whom 2,000 are children.

"At the expense of the local budget, 1,750 children from low-income families, 40 educators, 378 cultural workers and 100 volunteers will take part in the exhibition. Individuals and legal entities bought 254 tickets for EXPO-2017 through a special cash desk in a trading and entertainment complex in Aktau", he reported.

Also, since the beginning of the year tourist firms have purchased 13 850 tickets, including 1850 tickets from 17 to 21 April.
