Constitutional reform consistent with goals of long-term development - ambassador
Kazakhstan Ambassador Askhat Orazbai told about the basic provisions of President's special address on the reauthorization of governmental departments and the State of the Nation Address "Third modernization: global competitiveness".
A. Orazbai noted that the Head of State initiated major reforms in the political and socio-economic spheres aimed at ensuring progress in the development of Kazakhstan, the further democratization of the country, the adaptation of the system of government and the national economy to a new stage in the development of the state and the modern geopolitical and geo-economic conditions.
Also, the unprecedented government openness to a broad discussion of the proposed amendments to the Constitution and laws of the Republic of Kazakhstan. It was stressed that the reform meets the objectives of long-term development of Kazakhstan, including the five institutional reforms and the entry the top 30 most developed countries by 2050.
The ambassador also explained the main points of the President's Address, paying particular attention to the five priorities aimed to create the most favorable conditions for strengthening the global competitiveness of Kazakhstan.
